The Government has granted $4 million from the Regional Infrastructure Fund to complete Mataura Marae, finishing its wharekai and ablution block and strengthening the complex as an emergency refuge for the flood-prone town.

Alliance to return up to $20 million to farmer-shareholders by year's end

Alliance Group will pay eligible farmer-shareholders up to $20 million in late 2026 through a dividend and a supply-based rebate, with a second $20 million distribution planned for next year.
